CHRISTINA ARTEMIS
FOUNDER AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Christina Artemis has had an extraordinary career. She trained as an Actress, Singer, Dancer; gained a Drama Teaching degree at the City of London’s Guild Hall School of Music and Drama. For 30 years, she enjoyed a successful theatrical career ranging from opera to musical theatre, cabaret, TV and films. Her favourite roles include: Agnes Gooch with the legendary Ginger Rogers in Mame, Theatre Royal, Drury Lane; Adele in Die Fledermaus; Aldonza in Man of La Mancha in Kenya and UK; Appearing in Ronnie Barker’s TV series ; films Oliver and Where is Parsifal with Tony Curtis; more recently Clairvoyant in BBC series Harbour Lights with Nick Berry.
In 1980 she trained in Integrative Breath Therapy with the Founder Leonard Orr ( USA) creating her own courses, workshops and professional training throughout UK & abroad. She owned and managed a Healing Centre in Bristol for Transformational Breath-work in the 80’s. She established an international reputation with The Goddess Training, Wizard’s Path and Self Mastery, returning from Australasia in 1995.
She wrote, directed and performed two original plays, Soulmates and a one woman show Three Faces of Eve in the UK and Australia. Whilst returning to her professional Acting career in London, she also established the Artemis Theatre Company and Doorways to Power Foundation.
Christina is now based in Bournemouth, from where she has been developing Artemis Theatre for the past 5 years, and offering courses in the Performing Arts and Drama, Dance and Voice Therapy. She has directed many of the innovative Theatre Productions.

Her life’s work has come to fruition through the synthesis of all her experience; bringing together the powerful use of Breathwork and creative expression within Drama Dance and voice techniques, games and a form of ritual theatre.
With this unique integration, she has developed her own brand of Transformational Theatre.
